Hi friends!  If you haven't figured it out by now, my name is Katie.  I moved from Po-dunk Pa to Upstate Ny right after school, and I haven't looked back once.  There is nothing I love more than a good bargain (except maybe a good cup of coffee).  I spend my days balancing work life and mom life. Sometimes I remember to squeeze some me time in there too.
This space is where I share all the super awesome things that are going on in my life. Disclaimer: More often than not "super awesome" means things like killing mice in our super small one bedroom apartment, or fighting with the tow company for losing my car keys on Christmas Eve.   I try not to sugar coat my stories.  What you see is what you get.  The good, the bad, and the ugly.  If you want to be my new best friend, give me pretty paper and pens.  I used to love playing secretary when I was little.  I guess I never grew out of that.  
In October of 2012, my favorite guy and I decided we should be married.  So, we found a spot in the park and  made it happen in two weeks.  After being sick for a year, we decided that we wanted to start our family. It took a year of fertility treatments and disappointments, but we finally welcomed our sweet Paisley Jeanne into our lives in March of 2015.  It has been a wonderful whirlwind of adventure ever since.
